Salzburg in the Rain

September 6, 2011

A horse in the Residence Fountain, the largest baroque fountain outside of Italy, located in the Residence Square.

Rained all day, so we did errands – added money to our phones, added a Gigabyte to the 3G account, mailed off another luggage weight-reduction package, and added a day to our upcoming car rental. All these required visits to different places, so we had to run to make our 3:00 Skype appointment with Alyssa. We were a little late, but we did see the boys crawling.

We also Skyped Nick and his new hair arrangement.

Peggy wanted to hear the carillon in the Mozartplatz at 6:00 (almost not worth it), so we set off across the river. On the way we saw this couple trying to get their daughter to photograph them with a camera that was almost as big as the little girl.
